Allegheny County, Swissvale, PA. The FBI has opened a preliminary investigation into the death of 37 year old Andre Thomas. Thomas is dead after an encounter with Swissvale police. Witnesses insist police officers beat Thomas brutally, punching and kicking him repeatedly in the head and back after they had tased Thomas and put him in handcuffs. One witness said, Thomas vomited, then lay motionless for several minutes until an ambulance was called. A neighbor said she saw Mr. Thomas standing with the prongs of the Taser still attached to him when four Swissvale officers forced him to the ground and handcuffed him. "I saw them shove [Mr. Thomas] to the ground, and they handcuffed him," the neighbor said. "They killed that man. They killed him. They killed him," County police said Mr. Thomas had been acting erratically and trying to enter houses.
