Looking south, panning left/east to the north: A nice view of "Haystack Rock" with fellow happy visitors or residents on the beach, all the great ocean-front hotels, motels, and dream homes, and back to Tillamook Head. Cannon Beach is a very nice, clean, and just overall exellent place to live, work? vacation, retire, etc...Definately one of the most relaxing places in Oregon to just kick-it, and dine at great restaurants, walk/bike around shops & peaceful, serene neighborhoods, or stroll the beach. woods/forests too! No city bull: skateboarders, graffiti etc..crime at 1950's level if that. Cannon Beach Police are rarely even seen, that's how cool and mellow it is. A highly-recommended vacation destination, just 1 and 1/2 hours; 80 miles west of Portland.
