Chyi is a liaison to referring physicians worldwide. She in in contact by mail, phone, fax, and/or email, educating referring physicians about clinical trials and protocols. During her nine years in the office, Chyi has provided referring physicians with superior customer service, speedy referral assistance, and facilitated access to faculty and staff. She participates on several cancer prevention/clinical trial committees and is an officer of the Asian Cancer Council, promoting and increasing the awareness of cancer prevention in the Asian community. Prior to joining the department, Chyi was involved in Phase I, II, and III multi-center clinical research trials. Her work has been published in various professional journals. She is a registered nurse who earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from the University of Texas. Chyi was awarded a Master of Healthcare Administration degree from Texas Woman's University.
